Early Help & Whole Family Ways of Working
Sheffield City Council offers a number of Early Help and Whole Family courses and workshops. All courses are free of charge and aimed at all practitioners and agencies (Statutory / Voluntary / Independent) who work with children, young people, their families and vulnerable adults through the Thresholds of Needs levels 1-5. Substance Misuse
The Corner, Sheffield’s Young People’s Substance Misuse Service, is offering a number of free training events to any practitioner working in Sheffield, including;
• A basic introduction to working with young people and adults around substance misuse issues
• An introduction to NPS/legal highs

Child Sexual Exploitation
Sheffield Futures Sexual Exploitation Team is offering Free Introduction to Child Sexual Exploitation training to any practitioner working in Sheffield. Sheffield Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Mental Health Training Offer
The CAMHS multi-agency training offer is tailored to the needs prioritised by the Children's Workforce in Sheffield and is designed to equip staff to respond to the challenges they are facing. It will be updated based on annual survey responses from the Children's Workforce and professionals are encouraged to influence content. The skilled training team involves CAMHS Nurses, Psychiatrists, Primary Mental Health Workers, Psychologists, Art Psychotherapists and Family Therapists. Child and Adolescent Mental Health: Schools, Post 16 Providers and Children’s Workforce Training Offer
Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group and Sheffield City Council have commissioned a programme of Young People’s Mental Health Training that is provided FREE of charge to staff from Sheffield education providers and the wider children and families workforce. As part of the ‘Future in Mind Transformation’ this training aims to support services to embed a culture that responds positively to the mental health needs of all children and young people in the city.
