Trauma Informed Practice (Stage 1) - Train the Trainer

A trauma-informed approach represents a way of working across all services that promotes six principles: safety, empowerment, choice, collaboration, trust and cultural consideration. 

SCSP has been delivering training to introduce those principles and encourage discussion and reflection regarding how they may be applied in practice.  

We are now offering this opportunity as a train-the-trainer. Participants will take part in the training and gain instruction on how to adapt the materials to deliver the workshop.  

The materials are given on the understanding that they will be used to deliver further training within the participants own organisation, and we ask for a commitment for this. 

Sheffield is committed to becoming a trauma-informed city, so this training is relevant to all agencies.
