Safeguarding Workshop - Signs of Safety Briefings

Sheffield City Council uses the ‘Signs of Safety’ model across all Children and Family Services. It is a solution-focused approach, and the tools can be used to work collaboratively with families in a broad range of settings. Fundamental to the model is recognition of existing strengths and safety and use of a question-based curious approach to supporting families to make positive changes.

By attending the workshop you will gain:

•    An overview of the Signs of Safety Model
•    Knowledge of how the model can be used within individual roles
•    Introduction to the tools and an understanding of how the model is used in Sheffield child protection and early help services
