Safeguarding Workshop - Supporting Children and Young People affected by Domestic Abuse (Haven)
Haven works with children and young people in Sheffield who have been affected by domestic abuse, to help them make sense of what has happened, understand how their experiences impact on their lives, and then start the recovery process.
In this workshop you will be given an overview of how trauma affects the lives of children and young people, and you will learn strategies for supporting the children you work with.
