Multi-agency - Safeguarding Adults and Children

This half-day course has been developed jointly by the Safeguarding Adults and Safeguarding Children services and it designed for practitioners in both Adult and Children’s Services.  It raises awareness of safeguarding issues for both adults and children at risk and considers how practitioners in Adults and Children’s services might work more effectively together.

Increasingly practitioners across both adults and children’s services are being encouraged to develop family-based approaches to working with vulnerability and need and this course provides an excellent opportunity to begin to explore the implications of this for practice.

Staff should have completed their own agency Basic Safeguarding Children or Adults face to face training or the Sheffield Children Safeguarding Partnership Online E-learning Safeguarding Children training, before applying for this specialist course.
