Safeguarding Workshop - Safe and Together

This workshops will introduce the Safe and Together model, the way of working with families affected by domestic abuse that was developed to promote better outcomes for children.

Partner agencies will see a change in the approach taken by social workers and conference chairs to how they approach perpetrators and survivors of domestic abuse, and so will benefit from gaining an understanding of the principals, tools and techniques that structure the model.

The workshop will encourage practitioners and managers to reframe their language and intervention so that survivors are effectively supported, and abusers are held accountable for changing their behaviour.
